Squirt will be the official lube at the inaugural 3 Stage Marrick Challenge MTB race held on the scenic Marrick Safari Game Farm near Kimberley; 3 Stages - 3 Days - 240 kms!
Mountain biking in the Northern Cape is fun because of the wide variety of terrain which is available, unlike riding on asphalt everyday (those poor roadies). This terrain is influenced by weather factors, temperature, time of year, and natural elements and hazards. It is a new experience with every ride. Participants in the inaugural Marrick MTB Challenge will cover over 240 kms and catch views of various game species, including Giraffe, Zebra, Gemsbok, Springbuck, Wildebeest and Waterbuck before they reach the tranquillity of the Marrick Safari Lodge finish.

| Sea Otter Classic |
To be part of the start of the USA biking season, Squirt exibited at the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, California.
It’s been said before, but Sea Otter really is the season kickoff. This is the weekend that everyone has on their calendar, where you see colleagues and competitors from all over the world, show off your new team or new employer, see this year’s new equipment and work out the kinks in your bike set-up. If you start the season without going to Sea Otter, you don’t start the season properly.

| The Tour d’Afrique from Cairo to Cape Town has become the benchmark for long distance continental racing and adventure. With five events having taken place in Africa, Tour d’Afrique (Ltd) has introduced events on three other continents. The Orient Express takes place from Paris to Istanbul, the Silk Route from Istanbul to Beijing and now the Vuelta Sudamericana from Rio de Janeiro to Quito in Equador . This is the most extreme sporting event in the country, covering some of the coldest areas during winter. As a non-stop event mental toughness is the name of the game. Eventual winner Maarten van Dalsen: This is a wonderfull event you do at your own pace. One word here is freedom. In a country of locks and fences, here the only barriers are body and mind. The Squirt worked fantastically.

| Trans-Baviaans - Longest one day MTB race in the world. |

Covering 240km, the race takes a spectacular route through the mountainous wilderness of the Southern Cape, from the Karoo to the coast. Riders have 24 hours to complete this team event. Since inception Squirt has been a partner in this event that takes place annually.

| Tour d'Afrique - Ultimate MTB Adventure |
In an extreme event from Cairo to Cape Town, where most of the riders used Squirt, the Tour d’Afrique proved that this lubricant extends the life of your drive train. Third placed Stefan Tobler (23) from Switzerland raced to his podium position from Cairo to Cape Town without having to change his chain. Accompanied by a professional bike mechanic measuring the chain regularly, his chain lasted for more than 12000km in extreme conditions riding for more than three months. He used Squirt from the start.

This is what he had to say...
In fact, my whole life I hate oil and everything, what has to do with it. I hate the smell and the sticky black stuff. But Squirt was different. It was the best product, I have ever used on my bike! First of all, the white colour was much more sympathic. The bottle was very simple to handle. It didn`t leak, it was easy to put it in to the camelback and it was even more easy to place the product on to the chain. The oil worked very well, it never messed up the chain (like other oil-products) and the promise of selfcleaning was fullfilled. I even horted 3 bottles of Squirt, to take it home with me......
