Squirt lube was born out of the desire to improve the cycling experience, and although cycling is our passion, we live in South Africa, and we also have a passion for the country and it's people, therefor we try to do our little bit to improve their lives, and protect the environment. If our contribution can contribute to get more young people from a disadvantaged background on a bike, to help develop role models from those communities, and thereby make it more acceptable to ride a bike everyday, we have succeeded. At this stage our contribution is limited to mostly product support, but we also try and help with networking and our own efforts where we can.
Social awareness / development:
We support the following teams, events and projects:
- Acsis professional cycling team & Life Cycling Academy, Velo Khaya , and also the Knysna Sport School's development cycling program (development meaning for people from previously disadvantaged communities).
- Chrysalis Academy
- Freedom Trail
- Tour d'Afrique,
(including donation of a bicycle for health workers in Africa).
- 50 mile ride for Project Rwanda

| ENVIRONMENT |
Being a wax/water emulsion Squirt lube is the only dry lube that does not contain a solvent, and as a result is more environmentally friendly than the others. Squirt has also been proven to exceed maximum biodegradablility criteria and brakes down 80% in 28 days, 25% better than the required limit.
